I made it out here today for breakfast. The Chang Puaek Hotel is just as chilled and relaxing you said it would be. I plan to bring my friends and family here when they visit me in Chiang Mai. Thank you for sharing this wonderful hotel.
Burning from about Feb. 15th to April 15th.
Still part of the rainy season. Expect 90 degrees and a shower sometime during the day.
Winter is fabulous. Nov through Jan.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai. I would like to come, when it is not the rainy season.
Great to hear from you Rich. Another member is staying there now. Check out the latest interview.
I stayed at the Chiang Puak Hotel for about a week in August 2011 and found it to be a very charming place to stay. Noi the owner is very nice as is her staff. The hotel and land has been in her family for many generations. Great place to stay or just hang out for some great food and ambiance. I loved the vegetable spring roll with side of peanut sauce.
No that is Hom Dok Mai coffee shop on the moat road Moon Muang
I am sure they must have a monthly rate. I will go by and ask.
@chronicreader The evening chef has had a lot of articles written about her cooking too!
@chronicreader No, I showed a video of the little coffee shop. Check it out. But do did see me drinking a few in those videos I made here in this garden. Good eyes there chronicreader!
@Breycor Chiang Mai, cool, cheap, and friendly. Phuket, hot, expensive and dangerous… hmmm. BUT, the water in Phuket is beautiful!
I like the prices on the menu: $1.70-$2.35 for a meal. Not bad.
Is this the place with the iced mocha with real chocolate and not Hershey's syrup?
Do you like Chiang Mai better than Phuket? Thanks for the vids BTW!
@leojdroffaws3 Summer is our second high season because families and students can travel. The real high season is when it gets too cold to hang out in the home countries. And especially after the holidays when family commitments are over. More people here then and a little higher room rates.
@watertonrivers I thought you'd like it.
great job again jc . but i was wondering when is low and high season ? and whitch is better for a visit [ you know scope things out ] and what is weather like in both ?
