Sorry to tell the truth. 5 star hotel needs to change the chef. Saigon streetfood offers much better than this. Foods look all wrong especially "my hoanh thanh" from the choice of noodle which looks like "bun" not "my" to the broth color. Called "my hoanh thanh" but I don't see any "hoanh thanh" in the bowl.
wow – this hotel is just $100 per night – San Antonio Marriott is $250 per night – its nice but i weren't said it was luxury
My first stop is always the New World Hotel. Cordial staff and I love the pool. Later, I move to the Park Hyatt for a few days.
My last stay is always the Caravelle Hotel. Many a happy night up at the Saigon Saigon bar. Enjoy chatting with the bartenders and the staff. If I am vacationing in Vietnam, I am doing it first class! Thanks for reminding what I am missing! Keep on trucking'!!
New World is one of the hotels I goto. Pretty good lil breakfast buffet. idk if they're still doing it but they have pool parties on particular saturdays

Hi Kyle … I am NOT saying you are doing business with the New World Hotel. My take is that your business is MAKING VIDEOS FOR YOUR CHANNEL. And, the making of this video was about introducing Y. Kim and the New World Hotel. It is all good. I prefer the FOOD clips and info. on cheaper hotels.

Had my wedding reception there in 1996 and the hotel did an excellent job with everything. Not sure if they still have it but they had spectacular food buffets. Completely opposite of street food for an interesting change of pace. The Cat Walk Bar was one of the places the high rollers from Korea and China went.

if you want a goodnight sleep you should opt for those big hotels like New World Hotel, especially if you are staying in District 1 or similar areas.
Out in like District 7 any 3 stars hotel will do, it's quiet out there.
